Franciscan University of Steubenville – Online Criminal Justice Master’s Program

Admission Requirements:

• Have Senior level status at the undergraduate level at Ave Maria University.

• Have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.00 scale.

• Demonstrate evidence of leadership potential, community service, and involvement in co-curricular activities.

• Provide a Letter of Recommendation from an academic official at Ave Maria University (i.e., academic advisor, faculty member, faculty advisor, etc.).

Admission Process:

• Submit Application for Admission by August 15 for the Fall term or January 7 for the Spring term of your Senior Year.

• After being admitted to the Online Criminal Justice Master’s Program, you can register for two Criminal Justice graduate courses at no cost. At the same time, the two graduate courses will fulfill two general electives at Ave Maria University.  At the completion of these two courses, 24 credits will remain for degree completion.

PREFERRED ADMISSION OF FIVE (5) AND UP TO EIGHT (8) DULY QUALIFIED AMU STUDENTS ANNUALLY TO THE GREGORY SCHOOL OF PHARMACY FOR THE DOCTOR OF PHARMACY (PHARMD) PROGRAM

• Qualified students are invited to apply their junior year as they near the completion of their prerequisite coursework.
• Identified students with completed applications will automatically be granted an admissions interview with our faculty upon application to the College of Pharmacy. They may also be granted an interview prior to the verification of their application if requested.
• Scholarship opportunities are on a first come, first serve basis meaning that AMU students will be given preference if they qualify.

Requirements:

• A completed PharmCAS application
• Meet minimum cumulative GPA
• Minimum science prerequisite GPA of 2.75.
• Minimum cumulative GPA 2.75.
• All prerequisites completed prior to beginning the pharmacy program.

SCHOLARSHIPS, GRE AND FEE WAVERS, AND CONSULTATION APPOINTMENTS

The Catholic University of America will

• Waive the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) requirement for any AMU student graduating with a 3.2 Grade Point Average (GPA) or higher.
• Waive the application fee for the MSB program.
• Offer a $2,500 scholarship for MSB applications received prior to 12/31 each year and $2,000 for applications received after that date.
• Offer a one hour career consultation with the MSB Program Director or Assistant Director to help prospective students discern whether a career in business and the MSB are a good fit for them.
