Where you live
Residence life & housing
Living in community is at the core of our educational mission at AMU. We commit to maintaining 90% on-campus residency for our students. As a student at Ave Maria University, you'll build strong and lasting friendships, grow among your peers and learn from the example of more senior students. Additionally, our devoted staff of Residence Directors are on-site at all times to assist you with any academic, spiritual or social needs.

The Catholic life is the reason for our existence and is the very heart and soul of AMU. Our students benefit from a strong Catholic culture centered around daily devotions and sacramental life. You'll have access to on-campus daily Mass, regular confession and spiritual direction, perpetual adoration, daily rosary walks and much more. It is our mission to help you integrate the practice of the Faith with a dynamic Catholic student life.

In the spirit of recreation
Our intramural sports are geared towards restoring and refreshing the body and mind of our students while also strengthening our community life. Participation is open to all students, faculty and staff, and is completely free! With hundreds of students competing in a variety of sports, you'll hardly find a better occasion for friendly and joyful competition at AMU.
