Qualifications:

The Department of Mathematics and Physics at Ave Maria University solicits applications for an adjunct faculty position in physics for the Spring 2009 semester.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Physics, or a closely related field, with demonstrated competence in the areas of electromagnetism, electronics, or solid-state physics, and possess aptitude for instructing undergraduate students.
The successful applicant must be committed to the educational mission of Ave Maria University, broadly described as faithful to the Catholic Liberal Arts tradition, as re-articulated in the papal documents Ex Corde Ecclesia (From the Heart of the Church), Fides et Ratio (Faith and Reason), and Veritatis Splendor (The Splendour of Truth).
