Welcome to the Canizaro Library
Opened in August of 2007, the state-of-the-art facility currently holds over 200,000 volumes and was designed for a future capacity of 400,000.

Among a variety of features, the new Library provides the following:
- 24-Hour Reading Room, complete with seating for 35, computer workstations, copy machine and printer, and 24-hour snack service;
- Music-Media Collection and Language Learning Center with workstations for students to watch instructional video, listen to music, and brush up on their foreign language skills;
- three Quiet Study rooms with seating for 28;
- four Group Study rooms with seating for 20;
- a microform reader-printer room;
- a Rare Books/Special Collections Room that houses 10,000 volumes
- a Bound Periodicals Room that houses 30,000 volumes;
- a collection especially strong in theology and philosophy;
- state-of-the-art computer stations, including a shared computer training center;
- wireless Internet access throughout the Library;
- more than 90 online databases; and,
- seating for 394.

Most importantly, the Library features a dedicated staff of librarians, library associates and support staff whose function and desire is to help those who use the Canizaro Library.
