Biography

is associate professor of theology. He previously taught at Franciscan University of Steubenville and Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans. His areas of expertise are the Old Testament and the letters of Ignatius of Antioch. He has published articles in The Catholic Biblical Quarterly, Vetus Testamentum,Biblica, The Thomist, The Journal of Biblical Literature, Nova et Vetera, and The Bible Today. Dr. Vall holds the degrees of B.A. from Franciscan University of Steubenville and both M.A. and Ph.D. from the Catholic University of America.
