Dr. John Colman is Assistant Professor of Politics and Chairman of the Department of Politics. He received his B.A. and M.A. from Carleton University in Ottawa Canada and Ph.D. from Boston College. Professor Colman is author of Lucretius as Theorist of Political Life published with Palgrave Macmillan (2012). His research interests are in ancient and modern Epicurean political philosophy, the American Founding and the Enlightenment, and disestablishment and free inquiry.
