Ave Maria University recognizes that many students face a variety a challenges adapting to the academic level of a university education.  We are dedicated to supporting all of our students in their goals of academic achievement.  Given the distinctive needs of the first-year student, Ave Maria separates its academic support programs into two main programs:

 the First-Year Program dedicated to serving students in their first year of college or university education; and

 the Student Success Program dedicated to serving transfer and upper-level students.
