About the Hall

One of the four men’s residence halls on campus, dedicated to St. Joseph, it is home to 150 men.

The hall features a large lobby with a refrigerator and kitchen appliances available for student use. There are three 40” LCD TVs located throughout the building.

The building is air-conditioned with individual room temperature controlled remotely. Laundry rooms provide residents unlimited use. A computer lab and printer is available to students. At the heart of our residence hall is the St. Joseph Hall chapel located on the 3rd floor that houses the Blessed Sacrament where students can pause to reflect and pray.

St. Joseph Hall has 40 rooms. Two rooms share a bathroom. (see image below)

Greg Howard is entering his third year as a Residence Director at Ave Maria University.  He is a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and a Masters of Business Administration. 

While attending Florida Gulf Coast University, he held student leadership positions in both Residence Life and Student Affairs.  He also worked in the Florida Everblades hockey organization as a game day operations intern.  He also held leadership positions in the Newman Club and was also an active member with FGCU’s Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) group.

While working at Ave Maria University, he has taken on the staff advisory role to the AMU Students for Life club and also plays violin with the student-lead music ministry at the 7:00pm mass during the school year.  He truly enjoys working with the students and loves the sense of community here at Ave Maria University.
