Freshmen & Transfer - who qualify and have been awarded Academic scholarships less than $10,000.
Funding is limited, and will be awarded in order of receipt of the FAFSA, with preference given to those received prior to April 1. If selected for verification, students will not be awarded until the verification is completed. Please note that any changes in the EFC as a result of the verification process may result in changes to the Gap Grant.
The Academic Need-Based grant and Academic Need-Based Freshman Housing Grant are renewable based on the student’s EFC after completion of the FAFSA each year. In addition, students will be expected to maintain satisfactory academic progress and remain in compliance with our Student Life discipline policies in order to maintain eligibility for renewal in succeeding years (not to exceed a maximum re-award of three years). Should any additional grants or scholarships be awarded, it may be necessary to adjust the amount of this particular award as to not exceed unmet need.
